About
About the place
Bite has been Incline Village's answer to the "where do we actually go for dinner?" question for close to two decades. Thomas and Brooke McCarthy opened it in 2007 and still run it, and the concept hasn't wandered: American tapas, built for sharing, with a bar program that punches well above what a town of 9,000 has any right to expect. The menu is small plates rather than entrées, which is the whole point, you order five or six things for the table instead of committing to one. Longtime regulars go for the ahi sliders, the fiery honey baby back ribs, and rotating seasonal plates like duck confit sliders with fig jam or brussels sprouts with bagna cauda. The wine list ranges wide across varietals and appellations, and the cocktails are made from scratch with house-made ingredients. he room reads modern and intimate without being precious, tables close enough to feel like a scene.
